Threads in Theory: Weekend Chic

In my mind’s eye, I see myself wearing this outfit to meet up with friends for a weekend brunch in October. Wait, this is California, better make that November. I absolutely love Fall and Winter because of the opportunities to layer! Scarves, sweaters, coats, oh my!! Yes, I’m ready. So very ready.

Fall Obsessions

Here are some of the pieces I’m pining for for Fall. I love a great trench! Jessica London has one that’s slightly shorter that should be perfect for me. Next up is the Mulberry Oversized Alexa bag. I love it. I need it. I can’t bring myself to pay that much for it! Following Alexa is this vibrant red coat by Joe Brown. It’s been dubbed the Ultimate Coat and I can see why! I love the eye catching hemline and the details around the buttons. Next, the Kadeer bootie by BCBG should satisfy my Fall obsession for wedged booties—Keyword: should. Lastly, we come upon Joe Brown’s Lace Up Boot. I like how rugged they look! I’d love to pair them with an oversized off the shoulder sweater or a really cute flouncy floral skirt for Spring.
