I’m Hawaii bound come October and have yet to decide on swimwear! I know, I’m hella late on swimwear decision 2011 (this really should’ve happened in April sometime), but at least at this time of year I’m able to partake in the end of season sales! Monif C has some really plush, plus-friendly swimsuits that I am currently adoring/debating. In order, the swimsuits below are Barbados, Belize, and Monaco by Monif C.

If you couldn’t already tell, I am sucker for a halter top — that and a peep-toe slingback, and I’m stuck on deciding which swimsuit will serve its purpose dutifully in Hawaii! My good friend Marcela is accompanying me and we have all sorts of fun, outdoors-y things planned. Enter the need for a swimsuit that will wear well underneath clothes for that occasional swim at the beach or waterfall we happen upon. I’m actually leaning towards the Barbados style. I like that it’s a wink and a nod to a Bond Girl type of swimsuit. Plus, it’s chic and looks like it will wear quite well. I’ll keep y’all posted on the suit chosen (with pictures, of course)!
